Yahooo...... Just checked my email , and guess what............got approval.

I'm so excited, can't tell you...........thanks god, this long wait is over.

This forum is wonderful, really got a lot of info. I wish all of you to get approval soon.

Looks like they've started working on april'03 (PD) cases.

rdk123, Congrats...I dont think they are working on April 03..my PD Feb 03...fyi..

I dont think they are working on April 03..my PD is Feb 03 and RD Oct 03...and bit upset about whats going on with my case!! It seems that NO logic for approval..

Does priority date even matter when it comes to approving GC? I thought they go by Reciept date? Correct me if I'm wrong. For example:

case 1) for someone who has a PD of Aug 2001; and their labor got cleared in Jan 2005; 140 cleared in Jan 2006; file for 485 in May 2006 (Reciept date).
case 2) PD - Aug 2003; labor cleared in Aug 2004; 140 cleared Dec 2004; 485 file in Jan 2005 (Reciept date)

Considering if all dates are current, case 2 is likely to get his/her decision on AOS before case 1. since case 2 has an earlier Reciept date even though PD is later than case 1. That was my doubt if PD even matters at the last stage if all dates are current (like it is now)?
