Hi,

Seems INS has approved lot of applications filed before Nov 99. I have been trying to reach a human for the last week. The phone
line is always busy.

My wife\'s FP has been asked to redo on May 01. Since she was out of the country, we requested for a reschedule. Newark hasn\'t given
any rescheduled appointments so far. When I called they said "we will look in to your request and will give an appointment whenever a free slot is available".

Is it possible, INS has put my application (principal applicant) along with with my wife\'s beacuse of the FP delay?

Talked to IIO couple of times in last week and was told that an RFE is in the process of being issued and there is a backlog in the printing section and may take about three weeks to clear.

Nope, but my company changed its name after I filed my I-140. I heard from my attorney it is on hold because of that. I filed my amended I-140 last week.

I read last week in this board a posting saying that the husband (primary applicant) got approved and wife is waiting for fingerprint appointment (redo).

However majority of the posting in this board agrees with your comments.

With this uncertainity in the job market it is great peace of mind if 485 gets approved. I have to be more patient.
