Thanks for posting your case details.

My case is similar to yours:
INDIA, EB3, TSC
PD: 07/07/1997
RD:8/25/1999
ND:10/25/1999 (SRC-00-018-*****)
FP:12/07/1999

IIO told a few days ago that my case has not yet been assigned to any officer. I don\'t know how long more it takes for approval of case.

Any idea what dates TSC is processing now for EB3 INDIA?

SRCTSC,

congratulations and enjoy the freedom !!!!! (I forgot congratulating you in my earlier message)
Did you contact any senators for expediting your case? also, did you get any RFE?
please post any detail which might give us some clue as to know the processing/approval patterns at TSC.

some one told me last week that TSC has more than 70,000 pending cases under(485) and only 7(yes only SEVEN) officers to work on them. looks like this statistic is true considering the snail pace of TSC. All my friends at various centers like VSC,CSC have got this GC long back (even though I have better dates of PD/RD/ND etc than theirs).

Nobody seems to know the logic behind different processing patterns at the 4 centers..

VSC, I hope you get your approval soon, you should have got it long back.
SRCTSC, please post your stamping experience when you get some time.

VSV,

Looks like your FP might have expired. Have you requested TSC for a new FP notice? Some of us in the same situation as you have already done something about it. We got our FP redone with our old notices though our FP was rescheduled by TSC for June.
Please go to "www.isn.org" --> 485 issues and look for all postings by "Sunny" and "Bhajan". You will get a lot of clarifications concerning this issue.
After that if you still have any questions, you can address them to me.

Thanks,

Sunny

I got my passport stamped today.
What a bad day to go at INS-Dallas today.
I reached around 4:45 am, there were hundreds of people waiting in the line for the dead line of 245 .. (What a bad day..)
We were inside the office at 9:30 am, the tickets were given for the C line (They have three lines A,B and C. Each one does different things). The first ticket said the waiting time is 2:00 hours, and added 14 minutes for each of the family members. But right after we sat inside an Immigration officer came and announced that who ever are here for Passport Stamping come and see him. We did so and we were done in 45 minutes after that i.e. we were out of the INS at 11:30 am. No questions were asked accept the Birth Place and the current address.

I THINK THIS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH INFORMATION FOR PASSPORT STAMPING EXPERIENCE.

MY DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOW.
