EB3 I-485 RD in 2003 And Not Approved, Post here

With few exceptions i find most of the cases approved are with I-485 RD in 2004.

Lets track cases with with RD in 2003 (I'm afraid we are few in number) and possible reasons our files are not approved.

I'm transferred from VSC --> TSC, is that a factor in my case not touched by TSC??

I surprised that you are still stuck.I expect ur approval in June 07 for sure.As I am observing and talking to friends,all old timer are getting the approval.Did u call TSC ? if yes, then what they are saying ? any LUD recently ? I will pray for ur approval .

Thank you, for your encouragement. i have not seen any LUD on 485, anyway applied for our 5th EAD. i did call USCIS and talk to IO she put a Case Enquiry and gave me some number and ask me to call only after 5th july if don't hear anything from USCIS. I guess thats f**ing standard procedure they follow...

Yes it's very very very frustrating to talk to TSC. My RD for 485 is 4/22/2004.Hence u should expect some good news this month.All old timer have got it.Since ur LUD has not changed after FP2 ,thats good sign.Why that is good sign , I will not like to discuss but can tell u thats good.Wish u all the best.
 
count me in

TSC is treating transfer cases differently than those orginally filed at TSC. Originally filed cases at TSC are in good shape for approval if everything is fine in their cases.

Initiated service enquiry on June 1st

Called TSC using POJ - June 6 - Got rude reply from the lady on the other side that your case is in the pile of cases we received from VSC which will be processed and call disconnected instantly
 
Your case too riped for approval assuming no LUD after FP2

When they get the FP report ,they like to approve it if everything is ok otherwise they update that FP report has been received etc etc.Hence u should expect approval too.

did you get some TSC update??

From other threads i picked up, the reason for our cases not touched as

1) Name check expired
2) Our File not in TSC system, so will require a update before approval
3) Latest FP not downloaded into their system

I tried POJ few times but never got a direct answer.
Did any of you get similar are different response for the dealy??

LUD: 03/2007 (when the file was moved from VSC to TSC)

At the Infopass appointment yesterday, the officer told me my case had been transferred from TSC to CSC (wtf?). I got no email, nor did LUD change, for this second transfer.

Are they off-loading some cases from TSC to CSC?

Incidentally, my namecheck cleared, according to the officer.

Looks like VSC cases in TSC have become orphans.
Original filers @TSC are getting cleared.
Something with
I-485 RD 2003 and Cases Xferred from VSC to TSC though.
Have not seen many xferred cases approved.

There is no expiration for Name Check. Once cleared it will be valid for the appl. If you file a different appl, then name check need to be done again..
