Eb3-EB2 Portability.Chances of getting 485 Approval.

I have been reading through the forums of EB3-EB2 Portability cases and there has been many successfull conversions from eb3 to eb2 and many have been able to port their I140 into previous PD Date.But I have not seen any single case of anybody getting their 485 actually approved. In one thread I was reading that an attorney of one applicant said thier was a 50/50 chance of getting approval or denial.So if 485 gets denied is the old Eb3 gets denies to?

post your full details or situation and what you plan to do.
FYI if one has I-140 approved in EB3 and second I-140 also approved in EB2 then person can retain early PD.
