EB3 cases still at VSC but with a possible RFE

I know a lot of us are in this stage where we have our EB3 cases that are stil at VSC and are possibly waiting for an RFE (some who have replied to the RFE).

I wanted to start a new/fresh thread so we can exchange any information we get regarding RFE's and possible approvals after responding to such RFEs.

In my case I am expecting an RFE (I was informed by my local congressman's office -- it is in the clerical department) but have not seen any change in my online status so far.

Lets share our experiences and information we gather.
 
Same boat

After giving FP2 and LUD changed two times, got a letter from local Senator telling me that my lawyer would receive a letter asking for additional information. I am unable to get any information from VSC as it has not been 60 days since I gave my FP.
 
Did you hear anything?

I have not yet heard anything on the RFE front. I tried calling VSC but got the national service center and they are not good in terms of info they can give.

Also called congressman's office and they said they can't do any expedite for the RFE. How about you? Did you hear anything?

Nope. I have not heard from anybody nor congressman. I am calling up tomorrow. I will keep you updated.

Yeah, call them an ask what`s going on with our GC. Why olds cases, inclusive RD:2002 cases stayed in VSC? If, they[VSC] will still approve any GC from now on?
 
Like supply_demand, I called VSC but went to NSC (dialed 1-800-375-5283-Wait-1-2-6-1 ) and got the same stupid call center people. They asked me to wait 10 more days to see if anything changes else I should call them back to put up a request to expedite the case. I don't have any option but to wait.

have not received the actual RFE notice yet. From the posts here I think it might take about 3 weeks to receive it from the time there is an LUD.
 
Is it RFE......

our RD is june 2003. two years ago uscis denied our cases on a wrong base.then after filing I290 B they opened only my husband case(he is a principal applicant) since then we were waitnig for any responce.In january 2007 my husband went for boimetric and in the end of feb.27 there was lud that mine and kids cases are reopened and their review will take 30 days..........i am wondering if this is RFE.... and is it good sign?

today my husband had an info pass appointment.......i want to share his experince.
it took only 20 minutes ...they are very quick now they called him at window to ask whats the matter we told him 1) that more than 90 days have passed and didnt receive EAD and second question about our I485.....he immediately called someone and then told my husband that you will receive your ead in 7 to 10 days ...and about i 485,he said, that your case is with the officer and we are going to send him to expedite your case
so what does this mean that case is with officer...is it good sign...pl. some one tell me
 
Case assigned to an officer is generally a good sign that it is shifted from shelf to the desk.

SENT BACK TO VERMONT 12/07/2005
2ND FP = 01/12/2007
LAST LUD (WITHOUT MESSAGE CHANGE ) 01/19/2007
CASES REOPENED FOR DEPENDENTS= 02/27/2007
NOW WAITING..............................:confused:

my husband got e mail for EAD approval next day after infopass

I have not received anything as it has been 2 weeks since LUD on RFE. My main worry is I should not RFE on medical as I have moved from that state where I was taken.

Any update on you supply_Demand?
 
Received my RFE

they want my pay stubs, W2, federal tax filing documents, EVL and a non-availability certificate (this is because I dint have a birth certificate and had to submit affidavits instead of that document)

you should hear from USCIS very soon.

Ok..

Good you received them. Are you sending copies of all these documents? Also how are you going to send your non-availability certificate? I meant a copy or original as it is given in bond paper in India. Right? Please let me know as I have to do the same. I don't have birth certificate but have this one.

Supply_demand, Have you sent all documents and any LUD change after that?

I am yet to receive a letter from them.
