As you know, EB3 is unavailable world-wide right now (irrespective of PD).
New numbers will be doled out this October - so at a minimum you won't see any action till Oct 2005.

Depending on your country, your PD may or may not clear the cutoff in Oct -- your PD is 12/2002 which is about 6 months away for the retrogressed countries -- if you belong to those countries, you can expect some action in Jan 2006 or so.

Last week I did bio-metrics, does this mean anything positive ? my EAD/Parol is also expiring 10/2005, do you suggest I apply for new ones ? or just hope that I485 will be completed by 10/05 ?

If you do not have an H visa, then you should apply for your EAD asap otherwise you'll find yourself working without permission. If you have an H visa and it's valid for a while, then you don't have to renew your EAD just yet and you could wait and see if you could save some money.

Remember that the validity of an EAD card begins when it is approved and not when the previous one expires; so if you must have an EAD (if you don't have an H visa), you have to make sure that you don't have any gaps between cards.
