I have a long story but in a nutshell, all my cases are pending currently...EB2 and EB1. I filed my I-140 (EB-2) through a lawyer last year in April 2006 and yesterday my lawyer got a response after a liasion inquiry that my name is pending in name check.
My question: I never heard of this before but do I-140 applications also go through name check or is it that they have lost my application? ..very frustationg but no choice as most of us.....
I don't even know if I can check with FBI myself and is there any way out...
will appreciate any responses....
