EB2 vs EB3 dates

Hi,

I am new to this forum. My lawyer told me that with my 4 yr degree + 5 + years of progressive experience i am making much lesser than for the EB2 category. and my company cannot support EB2.
So the only option is EB3. before filing i need your opinion whether EB3 processing time is very slow comapred to EB3. there are confusing opinions in many places. Some say under PERM its same etc
Please clarify

Also is it really true that we must meet some set salary limit to be able to file under EB2. I have 4 yr degree from India + 8 years experience in software industry.

EB3 is not current now. you get same processing time for the PERM stage, but then you need to wait until your priority date is current to file I485. Does this answer your question?
 
Thanks for ur answer. But these are the questions i have
1. So given EB2 and EB3 for a case what would be difference in time apprx for processing I485
2. Is the salary limit true to file under Eb3 for 4yrdegree +experience
