EB2 Retrogression

Gurus,

Can anyone predict retrogression in EB2 category. my original LC is stuck in Dallas BEC (PD July 2003) and I am planning to withdraw LC and file PERM. BUT I will be on 7th year extension from July 05 (got approval) based on pending LC. If I withdraw, is there any way to predict, if I'll be stuck waiting for visa to become current sometime this summer/Fall ?

If I were you I would not withdraw old LC. PD is important now. I think you can apply PERM. I attorney told me do not withdraw old one and apply one more under PERM because i am in 7th year extention. and aloso my old LC is pending >1 year.

I think if there is no retrogression in EB2, I'll file PERM. That way, I can EAD while 141/485 are pending and they should not take long if visas are available.
 
If retrogression, EB-3 should retrogress before EB-2 does. If you can get to filing for I-485 and EAD/AP and then retrogression happens you can continue on that until finally a visa number becomes available.
