EB2 requirment

Hi:

I have master degree in computer science and 3 + years of experience.
With this credential, am i eligible to apply labour in EB2 category.

My employer is saying that in order to apply for EB2 category one has to hold a supervisory postion.also saying that its the new rule in perm.

Is this true?

I am going through this now also - the fact that YOU qualify for EB-2 is only 1/2 the solution. It is true that the JOB must also qualify, otherwise you are SOL.
Take a look at this web site, do some searches to see if you job qualifies. I am a plant manager/engineer and I do not qualify.

Search for job tiles like manager, engineer, ... what ever you do.

Then go to the "Job Zone" page. It MUST BE and SVP of 8.0 or higher to qualify for EB-2 as a bachelor. NOt exactly sure about master's, but I THINk (???) the SVP will be the same for the classification.
