EB2 or EB3

Hi Gurus,

I have a question. One of my friends is about to file his I-485 and had a little disagreement with his lawyer whether to file it in EB2 or EB3 category (he is getting a preapproved labour). Is there any way to find out whether his I-485 is filed in EB2 or EB3 category once it's filed ?

As per my knowledge. for 485 they do not consider any catagory's like eb2 or eb3. i beleive all but not all i-485 will be treat as same.

EB category will start with I140 , If you have already filed I140 then it will be on one of the column Ex: Advacne degree.......... that will be your category. Hope this helps
