EB2 or EB3? Which one to go

Hi I have Masters Degree.
My lawyer applied for Prevailing Wage for my Masters degree + 1 year of experience
and got the higher wages than my current wage
So now they wants to apply in EB3 quota using my Bachelor's Degree + 1 year of experience

Should I go for it?

Which process is faster EB2 or EB3?

Generally EB2 is faster but it is also harder if you have an issue RFE on I-140 if they say your experience, job position or something else does not work then they could fail it and you would have to do EB3. Your and your lawyers call really unless you can get your company to pay you the correct wage.

I have done my Masters in Mechanical Engineering from US and I am working in IT. Currently my company doesnt pay me as much as it is required for EB2 (as company has a very good benefit plan so my annual salary is less) but My plan is to find a company who can pay me more than Prevailing Wage and I think I can find that one should I go for EB2 then.......will it be any RFE as my education is in Mechanical Engineering. I am on H1 visa currently

If you have a good lawyer, who can present the case very well, you should not have any trouble. I have a friend who as a PhD is astrophysics. He is working as a software programmer. His lawyer presented tha case as, all the computer programming knowledge and skills he obtained during his PhD program. He used advanced programming while processing all the astrophysics data. So you can says that you obtained all your skills processing the mechanical engineering data or so on.
