I was completely out of touch with the forum for a while. I am happy to announce that our (me and my wife's) I-485 were approved on May 16th and got the approval letters on May 20th. This is a great forum and I learn a lot. I hope to visit the forum frequently to help anyone who needs more info.
For some time I was watching the NSC approval time very keenly and later got busy with my business. I completely forgot that my I-485 was pending until I got a finger printing notice in March this year. We did finger printing and there was a RFE for remedicals on April 14th. Send the remedicals with 5 months of pay stubs and an employment verification letter. USCIS did not ask these in the RFE. But I send them any way to avoid any further RFE's.
We are from Sri Lanka and we live in Columbus, OH.
