EB2-India, Waiting for Adjudication - LUD Changes many times!!

Hi Guys,

My PD was Aug 2000 and I-485 filed in Jan 2007. Name check got cleared some time in Nov-Dec 2007 and finally got assigned to an Officer.

To my bad luck, processing times were retrogressed and after a couple of weeks when processing times became current, Visa numbers were unavailable and have been waiting since Jan 2008.

Then I have received an RFE on Birth certificate and I have filed response on Feb 25, 2008.

LUD changed on Feb 27, informing the RFE received and file is in process again.

Then LUD changed 3 times on 02/27, 03/10 & 03/11.

I understand that EB2 visa numbers would be available only after Oct. 2008. Am I presuming correct?? If so why there are so many LUD changes ??

I heard some where that EB2 visa numbers will be available in April 2008, as only First quarter quota was over and second quarter visa numbers would be released in April.

Is this correct ?? Is this the reason why my case, which has PD 2000, is being repetedly touched ??

Is some thing is cooking at NSC ??

Any guys have such experience, please share

Just curious why it took so long for you to file I-485 ?! Yours is a very big journey, waiting since 2000 !

I am not sure about this case but most of the people with PD < 2001/2002 use either Lab Sub or recaptured PD from their old approved I-140. That's why you may see PD 1998/1999 or I saw 1997 recently.
