As everybody else on this forum, I am anxiously waiting for news on my I-485. PD and RD details below. Could anyone who received approval/RFE etc from NSC since Aug 1st 2008 please post here. If there is a duplicate thread on this, I apologize, in that case please just post the link to the thread and I will post my info there.

Today I received an RFE for my old I-140 also in EB2 with a PD of Feb 2004. Only the online status changed, still waiting for the snail mail.
I applied for my I-485 in July 2007 using labor from a later PD (March 2005). I switched jobs within the same company and to make the labor certification go faster, my company applied for new labor for me in March 2005 in RIR. The I-140 based on this newer PD labor was approved in Feb 2007. I used this for applying for my I-485.
Should I be concerned about the RFE on my older PD I-140. At this point with March 2005 being current and having applied I-485 based on March 2005 approved I-140 , is there any cause for worry?

So how does find out that your Name check had been done? I see aprrovals with later PDs and later RDs. Any idea what I should do next?:confused:
 
Guys, I strongly suspect that the reason for old cases like us (485 PD before 2007) being holding off is our expiring/expired FPs --- you can find out from Trackitt.com that all the cases being approved lately having valid FP (<15 month).It seems that they want to use out the visa number ASAP, therefore only clean cases are being approved, but cases like ours which require new FP taken are put aside...

Does it mean GC is approved?

My I-485 current status is showing as below. I went for 2nd finger printing in April,2007. I didn’t get any Finger printing notice after that. Does it mean my Green card is approved and My long wait is Over. Please clarify this for me. Will I get finger printing notice later or I just receive the card as below message is saying and I don’t need to do anything.

Here is another observations for this week: NSC has started to approving older cases with 485 in 05, sadly, TSC still are merely working on 485 in 2007!! How unfair!

very happy for these folks...but the order of processing is getting bit confusing. Going by PD means 2006 should still be in queue, if they are going by RD, processing dates published by NSC is still at Aug 10th 2007, whereas the one approved has RD of Aug 15th 2007.
Our cases seem to be obviously missing something....

Hi all,

I saw an LUD (without any change in msg) dtd 13-Aug-08 on my I-485. About 3 weeks ago, I had informed USCIS about my change of address so I am not sure if someone is really looking at the case or if this is just a systemic update reflecting the change of address. I hope it is the former and there is a decision soon. Will provide more info if there is any update.

Finally got the much awaited approval notice, and the physical card - both on the same day. Trail of latest events:

07/27/08: LUD on earlier approved I-140
08/12/08: Card Production Ordered email
08/18/08: Approval email
08/18/08: Approval/welcome mail
08/18/08: Card received.

Good luck to all awaiting their approvals. The day would soon come :)

Ok maybe I'm getting paranoid now... but did any of you get a LUD on an AP on 08/09/2008...I did...and am trying to figure out if they didn't mean to review my 485, why did they touch my AP?
