EB2 Approval in PERM

Hi there!

Has anybody got an approval in EB2 Category in PERM who has a three year Bachleor Degree (Physics, Computer Science) i.e B.Sc from India plus 6 years of Software Experience?

Is it possible that this qualification & experience will help qualify for EB2?

If yes, can you please suggest the Lawyer/Attorney name for the same?

Try to get course by course evaluation where it shows total credit hours you accumulated from your B.sc degree and its US equivalent. The point is for EB2 it should be Masters OR Bachelors plus 5 years post bachelors progressive work experience

Is it possible that this qualification & experience will help qualify for EB2?

Actually I have already done by Education & Experience Evaluation which saya I've satisfied the requirements to the completion of Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution of tertiary education in the United States.

It also says that considering that three years of work experience is demonstrated for each year of Bachleor's level training. Hence my six years of experience has satisfied two years of required academic study towards the Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution of tertiary education in the United States.

Does this indicate Masters OR Bachelors plus 5 years post bachelors progressive work experience ?

CIS looks for single source degree, if evalutation says 3 years Indian degree is equivalent to US Bachelors then you are fine. Dont try to get equivalency by combining education and experience, it is not acceptable for I140 at least at NSC, since now all I140's are filed with NSC. you could research this forum, lot of stuff has been written before about this topic

Dont try to combine education and experience, it is not acceptable for I140

I believe it would be bachelors plus 5 years post bachelors progressive work experience

Bachelors plus 5 yrs exp? How come?
3 years gone in counting 1 additional year(I have a 3 year Bachelor's degree from India i.e B.Sc & not Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) which is a 4 year degree).

So, I think I have US Bachelor plus 3 years of Work-Ex.

Also, second point I gathered is:
A person who is having 4 year Bachelor Degree (example: B.E from India) + 5 yrs software experience is eligible for EB2.

For a person with 3 year Bachelor degree (i.e B.Sc) + 5 yrs software experience is not eligible for EB2.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

In your initial post you indicated B.sc plus 6 years of Software Experience
based on this i suggested Bachelors plus 5 years of post bachelors progessive work experience will take you to EB2
Also, second point I gathered is:

bottom line is how many credit hours you accumulate at end of 3 year bachelors degree, this is the reason i advised course by course evaluation for your B.sc degree if evaluation says at least 120 credit hours you are ok, because this is what 4 years US bachelors accumulate at minimum
There are people i know who has 2 years bachelors degree but still equivalent to 4 years US Bachelors
