EB2 and EB3

Are the Proessing times for I-140 EB2 and EB3 different.
I am filing this month 03-31-2004 for my I-140 under EB3 category.
How much time would it take for I-140 approval(Maximum time)
assuming no luck.Does EB2 has any special Privileges

Drivers License suspended.

Hi Guys,

Just want you to inform you that. your drivers license will get suspended if your 1140/485 and EAD is pending.

My license will expire on April 2004, i already got a Suspension letter from DMV saying that it is suspended and can be renewed after my EAD gets approved.

This sucks as everything else is allowed in this country with pending 140/485. you can pay taxes, social security but can't get a drivers license.

If anyof you are aware of this fact and knows to get the license and way i can get it renewed let me know.

What if you have a valide H1B visa. can that be used to renew your driver's liscence???

Where are you? I was quite astonished by what you said since my 140/485 is pending. as far as I understand, as long as you have a legal status (e.g. H1B) you can renew your liscence (I am in NJ).

I am in Nj.

You can renew ur license if you have valid h1 visa.

my visa will expire on april 2004.
and after that i will have to wait for EAD.which god knows how long will it take.
 
Driver's license suspension

My suggestion will be :

1. talked to Lawyer
2. with his/her help go to local INS/CS center and get some kind of legal notice/letter

this should help you getting Driver's license
