Dear forum members,

As I understand, many of you have filed electronically. My husband has his application package ready to submit for EB1EA. His attorney plans to file at NSC. But I read from many post here that filing at Texas center is better. I have 2 questions:

1. What is actually e-filed: the I-140 itself or all of the papers (letters, citations, etc.)? Or are supporting docs sent by mail? Does e-filing automatically direct the case to the Texas center?

2. If we wanted to file a paper application directly to the TSC, how do we do it? Are there any limitations regarding who can file there? Our attorney believe s that all cases are to be originally filed with NSC, and they get transferred to different processing centers based on the day. (Therefore he believes he can try, but cannot guarantee case will get to TSC). Is that so?

Thanks!

you e-file only the I-140 form, NOT the supporting documents. after you e-file online, it generates a receipt and tells you where to send the supporting doc.
So far all the e-filed cases have gone to TSC. But it can change in the future.

Just e-file your I-140 form. You cannot chose the center. But as i said above, it's been getting assigned to TSC so far. Your attorney is right, however, if you mail it to NSC, there's 50% chance it stays at NSC. and NSC has been pretty bad. now it's your call what you want to do.
Thanks!

hope this helps!

Re: Part 1 , organization name

In part 1, I was wondering if any one had given a company name as my employer is a organization not an individual. Any thoughts on this? I gave organization name and submitted the application

Part 1, you do not need to provide your organization name if they are not sponsoring. just put your name. and do not need to put the IRS# either.
