EB1C - Multinational Executive Manager Thread

Although there seems to be a little movement on the EB2 and EB3 categories for I-140 petitions, the date for EB1C still appears to be frozen at February 11 (in fact, a few months ago it was at March something, then moved backwards!).

Considering that EB1 is supposed to mean "first preference", it's hard to understand what preference we're getting, since this category has the longest delay now of all of them at CSC.

When my petition was first filed, the online message said it was taking between 90-158 days for these types of petitions. At about Day 130 for me, it changed to 270-300 days. At about Day 250, it changed to 360-360 days (which is weird in itself - that's a range???). I'm now at Day 350...

There's another job in my company that I wanted to apply for that would qualify under AC21, but my company says I can't until my I-140 is approved.

Has anybody in this category seen any movement at all on their cases in the last few months - RFE or approval/denial?

WAC031425xxxx, concurrent filing
RD: April 4, 2003

I485 - ND - Oct 06 2003
FP - Apr 06 2004

Will this ever move!!

I'm in the same boat I filed for I-140 in July,15 2003

My lawyer says it will come as they pick as number of applicants in this category are considerably less !!!

Attorney Reply please!

Can we get a confirmation from the USCIS lawyers if AC21 portability applies to EB1 Multinational Executive/Manager category as well.

I spoke quite a few lawyers and each has a different opinion, but all is word of mouth, nothing confirmed.

must_be_patient, sachin_gp, any ideas or is it risky??

Thanks

I found my status was changed.

we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 360 and 450 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Does it mean I have to wait another one year or more to get I-140 aproved?

Hi All

Thank you all for your help and information in this forum.

My I140 and I485(both spouse and self) got approved yesterday. Info below.

I140 - WAC 03 179 5xxxxx
ND - May 28 2003
AD - July 21 2004

I485 - WAC 04 003 5xxxx
ND - Oct 06 2003 and Oct 08 2003 (For some reason had Notices)
AD - July 21 2004.

FP - Apr 6th 2004

LUD update
I140 - May 28 2003 to May 03 2004
I485 - Oct 03 2003 to Apr 8th 2004 to May 03 2004

LUD changed to May 03 2004 when Ohata Memo was released. Probably since FP was cleared by that time, all 3 apps where put in the same shelf.

No EAD / No AP / No RFE.
Had called NCSC to verify address, but was denied since I am the beneficiary.
Semi Concurrent Filing.
EB1 - C - MultiNational Manager.
Had been with the same employer, same project since Aug 98 from India. Since Jan 2000 from USA. Initially on L1B, converted to L1A during Feb 2003.

Hope this helps and Thanks again.

Congrats

Congrats Swana. That must have been some sweet news. (BTW, what do you mean by LUD and how did you get to know that it had changed)

That's great news. I am also in the same boat as you were.
