EB1b(OR) (with RFE) Approved at CSC!

Hi,

I just checked the on-line status of my EB-1b(OR) application
and got the magic words "your case has been approved".

I have been receiving great help from this forum and also would
like to continue contributing to the forum whenever I can.

May everyone who is still waiting receive his/her approval soon!

More importantly, when was it approved. It is my understanding that all approvals are frozen until background check. So this must have been approved a month ago?:confused:
 
my EB-1b(OR) case

Hi,

Sorry for keeping silient and not replying for so long time! I
just came back from the New-Year vacation!

Here are some details of my case:

- The RD of my case is Jan.15, 2002.
- However, due to the incapability/inexperience of my lawyer
(she forgot to ask some letters from me which are absolutely
required by the INS center, :-(...), I got a RFE around the
middle of April, 2002.
- It took me (and of course, my lawyer) almost two (2) months to
compose an excellent rebuttal (this time, my lawyer did a great
job, :)...), and the rebuttal was received at the CSC center
around the middle of June, 2002.
- Then, it took almost half a year to get the final approval, which
was mailed from the INS CSC on Dec.18, 2002.

Currently, the approval notice is still in my lawyer's hand, and I
don't know the exact approval date. Will let you know whenever
I get it.

Hi, Rat32:

Here is my qualification:

-Ph.D in Computer Science (graduated in Aug, 2000)
-10+ published materials, one pending patent
-30+ citation to my work
-reviewed lots of other scholars' work/paper and current in the
review committe of an internation journal
-did summer research intern in different industrial research labs.
-2 (minor) awards: from IEEE and ACM
-currently doing R&D work in a large networking institute
