Eb1A PP pending at TSC - Longer than usual

UpDate : 2nd RFE

Hi All,

Just wanted to update you that I got 2nd RFE today. Any one with the same experience ? Still don't have all the details but will keep you updated.

:(

Rfe

we claimed 4 criteria. USCIS considers one of them satisfied - original and significant contributions.

RFE is about the other 3 - membership, publication record and reviewer service. The officer actually went to the website of the society i am a member of and got incomplete information and issued a RFE on that criteria.

Brewtus and GCSept2005,
Thanks for sharing your RFE's on this forum. It is disheartening for sure but this forum is great to have advices from experienced people who have gone through this process of filing and dealing with RFE"S. Personally to me it looks like that TSC (now with a huge number of applications pouring in may have started issuing RFE's)...
I have myself filed under EB1-EA but am still debating to convert it to PP.
Do keep posted and for sure have suggestions on this forum too for the best possible ways to answer RFE's.

RFE Details

Same here too. We claimed 6 of 10 and we got 1st RFE for evedience for 3 of 6 mentioned in the RFE which were for membership, original work and reviewer. This time the officer did not take the reply to 1st RFE into account and issued a 2nd RFE on the very last day for PP dead line asking evidence for all the 10 points again. This is wierd. Looks like TSC as mentioned by KKU is filled with PP applications and are now issuing RFEs so that they can buy some time.

This is for gc_er and others here are my credential :MS 7 years of industrial experience now in academics for last 4 years or so, published (some in press) 14 papers with 5-6 first author and more than 20-25 abstracts as first or second equal author. Of 14 there were 3 with international request to use my expertise in computational biology and 2 national and 3 within the university.
