Hi,

Recently the university I have been working for has offered to apply green card for me under EB1 OR. However the university lawyer has mentioned that I need to have three research years experience after completion of my Ph.D. I completed my Ph.D. in Dec-2007.
I will greatly appreciate if anyone provide any information regarding the above.

Try posting this in the NIW/OR/EB1 forum. You need three years of research experience. Not necessarily post-PhD though.
