I filed EB1-OR petition with California Service Center (RD: 11/04/2005; ND: 11/13/2005). However, I received the following email message today indicating that my I-140 petition was transferred to an office in Texas Service Center for processing on 03/21/2006:

Could any member tell me what this is all about or why my case has been transferred to TSC from CSC, please? Thank you very much in advance!

Thanks, nikedude!

Can you please provide me with the link to the Sep 05 thread? That is, I am new to the forum.

After reading the case status notice, I immediately called National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283, as suggested on the email message, to receive information about local office processing times. This time, I was told that my I-140 petition was transferred to an office in Mesquite, TX, and that I should call 214-381-1423 for processing times. However, the line was not in service. The internet search for the info on Mesquite office led me to nowhere. As such, I am dying to hear from members who have had similar experience.

It's not just you.

I got the EXACTLY same e-mail today, saying my case (EB2-NIW, CSC, RD Oct31/05, ND Nov2/05), was transferred to TSC on Mar21/06. Other than Nikedude suggested, I can't find any other reason. I imagine they transffered many of the EB1/EB2-NIW cases to TSC yesterday simply to share the load. I cross my fingers! :)

EB1 EA transferred from CSC to TSC

Today I also got the same e-mail that my Eb1-EA with RD 03/08/06 has been transferred to TSC on 03/21/06.

Any idea why? Is it good or bad sign?

Thanks in advance

Me too!

I got the same email too. It is actually relieving to see others with the same experience. My OR case was filed in Dec.05 at CSC. I contacted our attorney immediately and and he said that they have recently received notice that Immigration is reorganizing their processing procedures and each Service Center will process specific types of applications, regardless of where the job offered is located.

At this point, he was not sure though if that is indeed the case for my application.

Congratulations, guys. TSC is very fast at the processing of EB1 and NIW. My two I140s were appoved within three weeks.

I received the same email last week and yesterday also go the notice in mail to this effect. I contacted my lawyer and he said that CSC has transferred about 15K such cases to TSC for processing. My guess is that this is done simply to reduce the load at CSC. I would agree with NIW@TSC becuase their I-140 prcoessing date is Jan 06 while that of CSC is Sept 05. So, I would imagine that these transferred cases may be processed soon.

RE: LUD after Transfer of EB1-EA from CSC to TSC

After my EB1-EA was transferred from CSC to TSC 03/21/06, I just saw a LUD 03/24/06. Can anybody please tell is this LUD a good or bad sign?

RD 03/08/06
transferred to TSC on 03/21/06

Thanks in advance

TSC will probably have to sent you a notice indicating that it is responsible for adjudicating your petition. This could have triggerred the LUD.

RE: LUD after Transfer of EB1-EA from CSC to TSC

Thanks for the information. Hope everything goes well with my application.

I heard TSC will have jurdiction over all I-140 applications in future. All current I-140 applications have to be filed at TSC (irrespective of your location). USCIS is trying to centralize all applications. Different stages will be handled by different service centers.
