I got my approval today! What\'s a surprise!!! My previous NIW was denied by TSC last march (2001). Then I moved to Boston area and filed OR on Jan 22, 2002. Only take less two months!
Could you please post some details about your qualifications as OR? How many points in 6 points you have satisfied? Years of experience?
I am preparing my EB1-OR materials. For the support letters, do you have some from the people you do not know?
Looks NIW is harder.
1. 3.5 year industrial experience after Ph.D. from US school;
2. 16 publications
3. 3 patents
4. More than 40 citations.
5. Two letters from industrial (current empolyer and prevous one) and four letters from academia (two of them are the member of Natioanl Academy of Engineering, two of them are the editor-in-chief). I don\'t know the people from academia except my advisor personally.
6. Current in biotechnology industry (Vaccines).
