EB1 L1A I485 pending case

Friends,

I had my I485 applied in Aug-Sept 2001. I have since then received my EAD, which I renewed late last year [2002]. I am like a lot of you still waiting for Fingerprints.

Since its been over six months after my I485 app, can I switch jobs without hurting the I485 process ? I hear its different for EB1 [L1 visa] cases for this process.

Can someone enlighten ?

Yes you can change job

I too am on EB1 and have 485 pending over 180 days. I have checked with Ms Murthy at murthy.com and many other sites. You can change job after 180 days of 485 pending, with EB1. Make sure that job description in new job is same or similar to what you have filed on I140.

still waiting for FP?

I got FP notice within a month of filing and also gave FP with 60 days of receipt. Now I am close to 200 days of 485 pending.

How come you still have not received FP for a receipt date in 2001? You may want to check with BCIS.
