Hi everybody,
Could you please advise what to do, if I was fired from work with I-140 approved and with I-485 registered just several days before the last day of my job termination date??? I have now only about 40 days out of 180 with my I-485 and don't have any US valid visa at present. Could I start working in a new place, when I receive EAD (hopefully in a month or so)?

EB1-OR or EB1-EA or EB1-manager?

If it is EB1-EA, then no problem. If not, then AC21 requires 180 days. Hence file an EB-EA and interfile the I-485. Or request the new employer to file another EB1-OR/EB1-manager.

Hello Raj1994,
Thanks for replying! I remember words "extraordinary abilities" in my reference letters, so if EA= extraordinary abilities, than I guess I'm EB1-EA hopefully. Is there any way to find my exact status somewhere on receipts?

Also, if I'm on EB1-EA, what should I do if USCIS request a fresh employment letter from me at some point?

I-140

Look at your I-140. It will tell you what kind of EB1 category the approval was for.
