Hi,

For EB1-EA the beneficiary need to provide evidence that he/she will continue to work in his/her field of expertise.

Is it necessary to provide an affidavit stating that the applicant will continue to work in his/her field of expertise? I am a little hesitant to provide any such affidavit, even though I don't have any immediate plans to change my field, I don't know what I will be doing 10 years from now. How else can I provide the CIS the evidence that I intend to work in my field of expertise? Will a statement on the coverletter be enough?

Thanks

Although just stating that you intend to continue working in your field probably wouldn't be enough. It would be nice if you could sum up your career up to this day, making it clear that with your education, experience and accomplishments in the field, it is exactly what you came to the U.S. to pursue. Would be helpful to include copies of contracts (or "pre-arranged commitments") illustrating your point.

Anyway, no one knows if all this is necessary in addressing the issue at hand, but it is certainly sufficient (worked for me).
