EB1-EA evaluation

1 - No use. cannot be used a claim on its own, but can be used as supporting or "extra fitting" or tagged-along for other claims like in "Awards claim" or just a premise of your career.
2. publications are reasonable not great. How many 2nd author??
You have to focus on the articles published in high impact journals. Dont know if you are second or third author in the high impact articles in Science?? You have to get letters that you contributed majorly in those papers etc.
3.third party or out-of-loop citations are good - Here you have to project that many people use your research (concentrate on the papers that were first author). Show researchers from diff country use your work.
5. Reviewer is a bit weak. just 5 articles in 3 journals. Is it high impact factor journals. How many reviewers per paper in those journals.

Anyway, Original contribution (reco letters, citations), authorship, and reviewer can be claimed.
Do you have national/international awards?

By high impact, what is the impact factor...
Yes you have to get letters from editors of all journals in which you reviewed. and they have to specifically mention that you are an expert in the field and that is why they selected you.
Yes, NSC and TSC a big diff I have seen in EB1A cases when I filed. TSC was lot easier to crack than NSC. Unfortunately, you cannot apply to TSC or NSC as you wish. It depends on where you stay/work ie the state that you belong.

You have to get letters from people who have cited your work stating how your work have helped their research. Get as many independant letters as possible for original contributions.
Authorship, you have reasonabel papers, not great
Reviewer - get letters and print email invitations etc

Hello Everyone,
I am a newbie to this forum. I am thinking about self-petitioning for EB1-A and would like some of the experienced members to please provide their inputs. Here are my credentials:

Ph.D and M.S from US and B.Tech. from India
Working as a Post-Doct at a US State University

Research Activities: I have worked on projects funded by US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and National Science Foundation (NSF). None of these proposals were written by me. But I have publications out of these.

Proposals Funded: 1 by state of Ohio, 1 by NSF, and 1 by an Industry.

Professional Memberships: Members of Sigma Xi and a member of 3 more international professional organizations.

Awards:
2 International level fellowships for graduate research (one them the best a graduate student can get in my profession).
University Presidential award for research (dont know if this counts)
4 awards total for best research paper and presentation at international conferences.

Peer-Reviewing Experience: Reviewed 3 papers in 3 journals total thus far.

Publications: 1 Patent, 7 peer-reviewed papers (does not include submitted papers), 4 book chapters, and 20 international conference presentation. - all of them as first author.

Citations:
around 100 (not including self citations)

Articles about me:
2 articles in trade journals describing my research.

Recommendation Letters (expected): at least 10 (including 1 from Government Scientist and 4 international).

Would I qualify for EB1-EA?
As a Post-Doc I do not qualify for EB1-OR. Am I right?

I appreciate your help.

Thank you!
