EB1-EA evaluation please

I plan to file for EB1-EA category. However, I am not sure about several questions listed below. I wonder can you give some advice. THANKS.

1. I have publications - 9 in Economics

2. my adivisor and co-authors said that work is original and has contribution in the literature.

3. I have a high salary [by looking at H1 document, my salary is 1.9 times than prevailing wage. But I don't know how prevailing wage was calculated, and my co-workers at the company receive the similar salary. Certainly, I dont' have complete information about everyone's pay)

4. I was Associate Instructor for 1.5 years, which gave independent lecture to undergradulates. I also was a part-time visiting lecturer (delivered two courses) at an university when I was at the last semester of my ph.d. training. [question, can this fit into 'Participation as a judge of the work of peers in the filed' ?]
I also received a Future Faculty Fellowship for being as a part-time visiting lecturer. Is this fellowship qualified as an award for the requirement for EB11?

5. I got an award from home country conference (not international level) while I was a M.S. student.
[questions, 1. does this fit into 'national award'? 2. where I can translate my certificate?]

6. I have fellowship and scholarship. Is this qualified as national award?

7. there is one and only one paper cited my publication. My assistance was ackowledged in several of my advisor's published papers, which was funded by national grants, such as the NSF. Does this fit into 'published material abou tthe person in the field'?

8. Overall, do you think I am qualified?

I am currently working at a semi-government angncy. Law firms I contacted asked me to file for NIW. However, I feel difficulty to argue why a LC need to be waived.

THANKS!!

The law firm may be right. Your case appears very weak for EB1-EA, but you may want to try NIW and EB1-OR.

Thanks for your advice. However, by looking at EB1-EA eligiblities. At least three thing I can see are obvious for my case
1. publication
2. original contribution
3. high salary

With three things, I should be ok, shouldn't I?

I graduated in 2001. 6 papers since 2000 I believe is rare for an economics major. That may be the reason for low citation of my papers. Actually, I just got an request from Goldman Sachs International. one of my paper posted at social science research network was in top ten downloaded list for two consecutive weeks (I kept the email from the board).

I agree that I don't have accountable national awards. Is my teaching experience accounted for 'being a judge of the work of the peers'? one law firm says yes, the other says no. One of them says the acknowledge of assitance in the published paper can also be included. I am confused by the contradiction. Any experience/suggestions?

Thanks.

I do not recommend you to apply in EB1-A category. Outstanding researcher with company sponsorship is a much better way.

For EB1-A it does not metter how many criteria you fulfill if you do not have a distinguished reputation in your field.

To prove that you have this reputation you must present letters not only from your co-authors or supervisors but also from independent referees.

Also, number of citations of your papers by other authors is quite important.

But the best thing for EB1-A would be to have a publication in major media about your research or publications, and of course mentioning your name.

I'm afraid you don't have the high salary thing. That category is usually meant for pro athletes and such who make millions of dollars.

Thank you ALL!!

Thank you all for your advice. I decided to withdraw from EB1-EA. I will try OR category. However, I really hate to deal with corporate lawyers, they are not efficient at all.

Thank you all again!!
