Hi all,

My EB1 was approved after RFE. What should I do on my 485? I have just submited my i-485 together with my NIW at the early July to NSC, there is still no any inforamtion on these applications (no check cashed, no receipt notice). Shall I resubmit i-485? Any sugesstion?

You need to withdraw the earlier I-485. YOu can file your new I-485 and withdraw your I-140 (NIW). What is your RFE. I also got RFE(email) waiting for the letter.

Thank you for the suggestion. Can you give me more detailed steps to withdraw the NIW and 485?

My REF requested almost everything. in the original petition, I claimed several criteria with highlights on the 1) publication 2)original contribution 3)review of others works 4) media reports

the REF did not mention the publication and declined all the others.

In response, I sent 4 more letters addressing my significance of original contribution, and 2 letters to claim the critical roles I played in an institute. In the cover letter, I responded to every question they touched.

I think the latterly submitted strong letters worked.

Hope you good luck

My credential:

1 review article
4 invited speaker invitations for international conferences
Many talks in national and local meetings
2 invited special seminars
1 work was reported in an international newsletter, and included in a summery of a big national project
reviewed a few papers for journals

Thanks milli-q. You got the decision very quickly probably because of the PP. I didn't opt for PP and I am waiting and waiting and .....
