EB1 and NIW recommendation letters

Hi Friends,

Can anyone tell me if we can use the same recommendation letters for EB1 and NIW?

I'm preparing the recommendation letters for NIW, and I could apply for EB1 later. I really don't want to bother those big names again after I submit my NIW application. Will the copies of the recommendation letters ok?

Your suggestions will be highly appreciated!

This has been discussion in this forum in the past. I think the general consensus was:

1. You can use same letters provided the letters explicitly do not say about the category
2. You can use photo copies (colour copies preferred)
3. Old letters (may be up to 1 year old ?) are also good for reuse

in the past, AAO decisions have objected for letters more than six months old. Use it only if you have no chance of getting letters...alternatively, place them appropiately in the petition.
