Folks
congratulations to those who are approved. Could you do a favor by writing the EB category also when you post approvals.
Because of the recent spate of approvals, I was wondering if the EB category would get exhausted before the fiscal year runs out. I am not too sure of the numbers but it just might help in guestimating what could happen ( I wonder if we can really estimate whats going on

I've seen EB2 and EB3 approvals recently. I personally don't think the category still matters at 485 stage. Check the time table of INS. They don't have different dates for different category. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It appears that those who had FP s done in the early 2003 (may be upto Apr 2003) are getting their cases adjudicated now. Probably, to avoid issuing 2nd FP notices given that FP expires in 15 months.

true, technically eb category doesnt matter when in queue in I-485 but there are only so many allotted visas for eb1 and the unused go to eb2 and so on. I would like to request people to update their signatures with the eb category so that many of us can keep track (or get solace whichever one looks at it). This thread was just to remind the approved people about that.
A nice weekend to all of you.
