EB 485 Transfer?

Hi,

My 485 ND/RD 4/2002 FP 7/29/2003 was transferred to San Antonio TX on July 6 2004 for an interview. I have been with the same employer, and have not changed my home address. I don't understand why did they transfer my case.

1. Is it necessary to take the lawyer?
2. How long San Antonio office takes to schecdule an interview.

i'd say take your date transfer date and look at the processing times for San Antonio, that should give you a fairly good estimate on how long it could take for them to give you a date for interview.

They are processing Dec 2003 cases that means in would take 6 months to get an interview. My FP would expire end of this month. I have read somewhere on this forum it is possible to request for an interview.
When was your case transferred?
What is your RD?
