EB-3 I-485 filed 06/15/07 rejection letter today

What to do? I think they make mistake, I mailed my I485 Application on June 15th to Nebraska service center.
I received my package back with my check also and one letter. Letter says the following.

The Nebraska Service Center CANNOT accept the attached I-485 application.
An Immigrant visa number is not readily available for you at this time because the priority date of the underlying immigrant visa petition is not yet current.
We have accepted your Form I-140 for processing, and you should receive a receipt notice in the near future showing your case number.
Your Form I-485 application is being returned to you at this time alone with supporting documents.

Letter goes on about how to look up visa number availability and how to contact them. So what you guys think?
My I-140 is approved long time ago i get my I-797 notice of action I 140 approved on Dec 1, 2006.
My Priority Date is Dec 2005. What should I do??? I am so worry now they made a mistake.

Hello,
Your Priority Date is Dec 2005 was NOT current in June for EB3, the cut off date was june 1st 2005 If you are from the rest of the word category and it was 06/01/2003 if you are from india. I think this why they returned your package.

I called the service center on June 10th, 2007 and spoke with a chuck and I asked him few times if the bulletin was current for June month or should I wait for July. Chuck said to me many times go ahead and submit I485 since the bulletin was current and EVERYONE who is EB-3 can file now. He was wrong! I should have listen to lawyer... Now I understand. Now they cancel the July so even if I had waited to file July I still would not get approval since they cancel July now.
This is very bad INS people.

Those customer service people are never the best people to ask the law and rules. They are ordinary call center folks with not much current info I would say. Sorry that you learnt it the hard way
