Then, why in the world your case was delayed for long period of time?! Mmmm....God knows the answer!

I don\'t know why it took INS so long. INS is INS, you can question them. Getting GC is not right it is privilege. So it is at INS discretion to take as long as they need.
After getting RFE, I send the supporting documents in early Nov 2001. But INS took 1 1/2 month to acknowledge it. After that AVM said it is going to take another 300 days to process this kind of case. That scared me. In my 5 1/2 years of processing I had never called INS. After waiting for few weeks I called INS. They said my case is in examination room. It generally takes 2-3 weeks to decide a case.
Also calling local congress person helps in only know status of you case instead you dialing in. They get response in one to two business days.
And then after few days I heard the cool words "your case has been Approved."
