I would like to post that my friend got approved yesterday. His details as much as I know

India EB-2
PD 2006
RD July 2007

That is all I know.

when you present these sort of news please be more specific, because there are lot of people on this forum watching to know these type of incidents (honestly, most dont believe that 2006 PD will be approved so soon). so it will be nice if you give more details such as service center etc.

that guy immediately left on vacation ....

To lay the facts straight..I have been on this forum long enough to understand how ppl feel. That guy went on vacation immediately before I could ask more questions...he applied in July of last year I know for sure. I am waiting for him to come back and post more details later. I am suspecting he filed in Nebraska 80% sure let me find out more later. BUT his PD = 2006 100%

I got a reply for my SR: 'I485 is ready for review and will send it for I485 supervisor for review. We will get back to you within 45-60 days for this notice of action'.
Do anybody know, what does this mean. is it a routine answer or just gimmics!

if this is true, there is a pattern. they are looking at RD's now. July 2 2007 so he got approved.this is what people want to see or dont want to see :)

It is not a pattern, that is how they are supposed to process cases -- ALWAYS BASED ON RECEIPT DATE. The priority date only adds complexity to the mix. Priority date is ONLY used to determine whether the petition cannot be allocated an immigrant visa or if it needs to be shelved just short of approval.

If they have to approve based on RD, why there are no approvals for earlier RDs?

As per trackitt.com, there are about 40-50 cases whose RDs are 2005 and none of them have recieved approvals.

I am one among them.

well one has to be hypothetical here. may be for this case every thing is complete(all other checks)

My I-485 current status is showing as below. I went for 2nd finger printing in April,2007. I didn’t get any Finger printing notice after that. Will I get finger printing notice later or I just receive the card as below message is saying and I don’t need to do anything.

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On August 12, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

EB2>>India>>NSC
PD>>09/08/2005
I-485 RD>>10/26/2005

Thanks!

It shows 15 months or more is passed between your last FP and your approval.

That may mean for NSC, folks with expired FP do not need to worry.

TSC, seems to be sleeping.
