EB-1 Visa Eligibility – Seeking Suggestions for High-Credibility National/International Awards.

Hi everyone!


I’m currently exploring the eligibility criteria for the EB-1 visa, particularly the category that recognizes individuals with extraordinary ability. One of the major criteria listed is "receipt of nationally or internationally recognized prizes or awards for excellence."


I’d really appreciate if anyone could suggest examples of credible national or international awards that are known to carry good weight in an EB-1 petition. Ideally, I’m looking for awards that are recognized across industries or within specific professional domains and are considered prestigious by USCIS evaluators.


If you've had experience with this visa category or know someone who has successfully petitioned under this criterion, your insights would be extremely helpful.

I read on a law website that for EB-1 visa, USCIS has provided 10 criteria for extraordinary abilities, out of which you have to meet at least 3 criteria.
Or provide evidence for one-time achievement. But bar for one-time achievement is like Pulitzer, Oscar, Olympic Medal.
There is clear difference defined between Nomination vs Winning.

Academic Scholarship, Grants or Student Awards do not count.
