My EB-1 EA self-made petition is taking shape. Recent postings on EA have been very useful. Thanks to all!
Reading the various threads on this forum, the USCIS Interoffice Memorandum on Chapter 22 and the very interesting Administrative Decisions

I decided to use 6 of the 10 criteria (1 3 4 5 6 8), passing for (2).
I am clear with the first five but a bit puzzled by (8) "Evidence that the alien has performed in a leading or critical role for organizations or establishments that have a distinguished reputation".
Has somebody around any experience on that one?
I am the Executive Director (since 2003) of a well-known (in its field) international research facility here in the US. I can document my leading role (my position is indeed the leading one in the organization). However, I wonder which kind of evidence I should give for the distinguished reputation of my organization. I guess the number of papers in Nature or Science based on data from the organization, of press releases realyed by major media mentioning the organization should be sufficient. Are reference letters from similar (and competing!) labs worldwide needed, or would the publication/media track record be sufficient?
Any advice on this Criterion (8) will be welcome. Thanks!
Chris
