This is my second post in this forum and I have been an avid reader and follower of this forum and have gained immense experience from others. I thought it was my turn to give back to this wonderful forum and the people .

My EB-1 ea was approved last evening at the tsc. Initially the application was filed in conjunction with the NIW and was sent to NSc in the middle of may and then was transferred to TSC. The RD was 1 june 2006. My labor is pending in DBEC since july 2004.

My qualifications are in my previous post. I have worked extrememly hard for 8 months at gathering all kinds of documentation to satisfy the requirements. this included 6 letters of recommendation from IVY league universities and 3 of these letters were from greece, and italy from people unknown to me. I am from a retrogressed country and have to wait file my 485.

I must thank techy2468 and honkman for encouraging me to apply in the previous post and i know techy has applied for eb-1ea good luck to him. I also gained lots of information from eb-1 doc and others in this thread thank you very much all and not to mention hilarious posts by some talented people here including Akbari. Not to forget I did hire a very expensive lawyer in New york so i think the whole deal worked.
If I can be of any help to somebody in this forum i would be happy to answer their questions.

Processing dates?

First things first my hearty congratulations to apnadude.

So much for my theory about processing not just I-485 but also I-140's when visa is available. Looks like USCIS is back to its old unpredictable self. all of us suckers should pray for lucky stars to show mercy on us.

Thank you for your post. I have a question about the citations. Did you submit all 150 articles that cited your papers? Or you just used Webofscience or Scifinder to find the total no, which country etc. 150 is a lot of papers to submit with the petition. So i was wondering whether you just submitted those particular ones that talked about your work specifically.

Also which service center was it and how long did it take?

Thank you.

all teh best forI-485!

eb1a-query,
Yes, I submitted all 150 citations, as my lawer asked me to collect them. My company has access to all these publication sites, so got them through the company. My I-140 petition is about 3000 pages (I have no idea whether the immigration officer gone through all these documents or not). My I-140 Ea was sent to NSC and then they sent it to TSC on the same day it seems. It toook me 75 days to get approval with no LUD.

Hi,

You can use the citation summary from WebofScience, but pick out 5-6 papers citing your work (for each of your papers) which are the most reputable journals in your field including the reviewing journals. Take the first page, page where your research is mentioned and the reference page. And do not forget to highlight whereever your name/research is mentioned in these citations.

(Try to make your application attractive but simple not bulky!)

At least this is what I did.

Goodluck

Congratulations Satya.

eb1a-query,
I agree with arydyk. For instance, in my case my attorney decided not to include all my publications. He sent approximately 5 articles (first and last pages only which shows the journal title, publication date, title of the article, and authorship) along with the package. Even for the book and the book chapters that I have authored, he only included the cover page and the table of contents.
I did not bother to collect a complete citation list as this appeared to be an enormous task (i.e., I was not willing to spend my time on this unless it was absolutely necessary). My attorney, however, use some excerpts of what others had said about my work in the cover letter. Three of my referees did a superb job locating these citations and included those in their letters as examples on how my previous work had impacted our field. But if wish to collect a more comprehensive citation lists, a summary from WebofScience should be sufficient. It is unlikely the officer is going to read several hundred pages of journal articles.

Congratulations!!! You deserve this approval. By the way what is the total number of pages in your Ph.D thesis ?:)

I am astonished the amount of work you put in to make 3000 pages in your I-140 petition.

Good luck with your I-485.

Congrats!!!

Could you share the information of your lawyer, like what kind of work he has done for you? Did he draft recommendation letter for you? how much is the fee?

Thanks!

yes he did draft out the recommendation letters for me and they were based on the the personal statement made by me in length and extreme depth (it was about 51 pages and it was based on the samples relating to my filed,ie medicine) I then reviewed his recommendation letters and changed some of the language. One his lawyers in the firm was alloted my case and he was in constant touch with me through e mail and did not have any hesitancy in answering even my trivial questions. They were up to date with all the facts. After the recommendation letters they then sent me a list of the criteria and i spent approx 8 months collecting the data painfully and all my recommendation letters were from ivy league hospitals ( the people who wrote them had used my work for their articles). I don't know if its the right thing to do on this forum to name the lawyer here but you can PM and iwill let you know
Thanks Apna dude
