Any one in this category please update this thread.

I have Masters Degree and 3 years of Research & Development experience with a Research Institute of Indian Government. I have
ONE Research papers published in Indian Journals.
Three papers Presented and published in National Symposium.
ONE Paper Presented and published in National workshop.

After that I moved to USA with a US based computer company with job responsibility of Research, Design and Develop computer applications, and had total over 8 years of experience.

Do you think that I have strong enough case to apply under this category?

Please see the standards of EB-1a or EB-1b. From what you described here I am afraid that you are not qualified for any one of them, and you need at least three.
