Earning statements??

Hi,

I got an RFE on my case this week. It says that I need to submit earnings statements... does that mean I have to submit my pay stubs? or does that mean that I have to submit the company's earning statements?

Thanks,
Niti.

It usually means your paystubs (and, may be, W2s). But, wait till you get the complete RFE details. Did you, by any chance, use AC21?

Yes, I did use AC21. I got the complete RFE and it says that I need to submit the earning statement, a letter from my company (i think this is the EVL letter), W2s etc.

So, it should be the paystubs huh!! Is past 3 months ok?

Thanks,
Niti.

I am assuming that you have already informed CIS that you are using AC21. If not, sent the AC21 supporting docs alongwith your response to the RFE.
Did the RFE ask for past 2yrs of earning statements? I think that is the general practice. Do not take any chances and send the copies of your past 2yrs W2s and paystubs.
A list:
1. Copies of paystubs (past 2yrs if you have)
2. Copies of your past 2 W2s
3. Supporting letter from your current employer (/EVL)
4. Supporting document showing the use of AC21 (unless you already did that).

I believe this RFE has been discussed extensively in the forums here. Do a search and you should find more insight of how people had responded.

Good luck.

Hi Niti,
I have also used Ac-21 in my case and I am assuming that I will get the same RFE. Can you send me your email id, so that I can get in touch with you if needed.

Thanks

I did send all the AC-21 supporting documents 3-4 months back. My company also sent a letter to USCIS 3-4 months back to say that I had joined them.

I joined this company 6 months back. So do I send 6 months of paychecks for this company and 1 and half yr of paychecks for the previous company?

Thanks a lot,
Niti.

P.S. my email add niti_u@hotmail.com
