Early Oath?

I might be required to travel on business around my oath date.

Is it possible to re-schedule oath to an earlier date? If so, what is the process?

Any feedback from someone who has done this before is welcome.

I doubt you can reschedule for an earlier date as oaths are scheduled in chronological order. You can always do an Infopass to see if they can accommodate you for an earlier date.

If they did let people advance the oath date am sure that suddenly a lot of people will claim they have "urgent travel which can't be avoided" . Do try and let us know how it went.

Yep, I don't think you'll be able to schedule it earlier, but I am sure they will be glad to schedule it later With USCIS, later is the word

When I went to DO and ask them for early Oath, she said unless you are with military we can not expedite OATH or anything related to Citizenship.

That's it then - no point doing an Infopass. I will work on rescheduling my business travel as it is not of an urgent nature.
