my scheduled 2nd FP is at SJ office. is is true that SJ office allows walk-ins only on Wed and Sat? I had my 1st FP done in SF and early walk-in was not a problem. has anyone been refused early walk-in at SJ. can i try SF office if that happens?

Early FP in SF

A friend of mine called me up over the weekend saying that it's no point going in early. He went in early 2 weeks ago (scheduled for July) and they took his FP in San Francisco but got a letter from BCIS stating he has to come back on his schedule date. And he's not supposed to do his FP early.

He advised me there's no point going early.

Guess I will have to wait for my scheduled FP.

Walkin for FP interview at SJC

Yup. thats correct. SJC is not allowing early walk ins. I have FP appointments for July17th, but decided to walk in early on June 14 th. I was asked to comeback on the appointment date. Lady said that 'you are like a month and a half ahead and I cant let you in'. Incidentally 14 th was a Monday and I am not sure whether I would have been successful if it was a Wed. or a Saturday.

Good Luck

but i was informed on this forum that SJ allows early walk-ins on Wed or Sat. can someone confirm that?

My wife got 2nd FP notice last Friday, scheduled 08/01. went to ASC 11:30AM Saturday as suggested by sb on this forum, about 10 people there, and got FP done in 15 minutes, no issue.

If they took his FP at the ASC, then the FPs would have gone straight to the FBI and the results straight back to the USCIS. What's the deal with getting a letter telling him to come back and do something he has already done, especially with ASC OK'ing it?
