Early FP on CT

Hello,

I'm scheduled to have my 2nd FP on February 19 and I'm wondering if I can do it earlier. What do I have to do? Can anyone share his/her experience of doing early fingerprinting in CT?

I to got my second FP notice and schedule on 02/20 and i am planning to do early.

Are you going to call the service center first? Or are you going there with just the appointment letter and the necessary documents? When are you planning to go?

I tried early FP at Hartford, CT but was sent back and asked to come on the date printed on the 2nd FP notice. I went on a Saturday and there were not many people. Suggest go on the date printed on the notice. Anyway, it does not make any difference in approval time.

I gave told him that I have planned a vacation around the same time (which was true) and I will have to reschedule my vacation if the FP was not done today. So he told me to reschedule FP if I could not reschedule my vacation. Basically he did not want me to do early FP no matter what. There were hardly two or three people there for FP at that time for FP! I just took all my papers back decided to go on the date on the notice. The office is only a couple of miles from my office so I don't have a big problem going there again. However, if you are travelling a long distance, I would recommend not to waste you time trying for early FP.
