Early FP delays 485 Approval

Here is what i feel after looking at the recent approval trend.

If you had done your 2nd FP earlier than the scheduled date then your 485 approval is delayed. This is just my thought.

My ND is oct 3rd and i did my 2nd FP on April 28th 1 month ahead of the scheduled date still no updates or changes...

Let me know what you guys feel about this.

Not true - I did my FP one month early but just got approved last week. My RD is Nov 2002.

Folks in CSC have done early 2nd FP and their 485 got approved even before the original FP2 appointment date !!

So yeah - early FP won't hurt anything.

Maybe your case is stuck at name check (or) a potential transfer / RFE ?
