Early FP at Detroit

I went to the Detroit ASC for fingerprinting on my scheduled date. My wife's FP date was a few days later, but we managed to get her's done on the same day too. The officer at the desk asked another officer at the back (supervisor probably) and they agreed to have her FP taken on the same day. It depends on how crowded it is and on the personnel there. If it's a slow day, they'll definitely accomodate you. Good luck!

Detroit INS personnel are supposedly less picky and as spiderboy says, it totally depends on the people whom you end up with. Hopefully you shouldnt have any problems if you can explain them a genuine reason.
 
I went for my wife's FP 1 month earlier (scheduled on 6th May), but officer told us that FP for 485 cases cannot be preponed. I also talked to my attorney and she agreed on that.

My wife went outside country and coming back on 29th June. I sent a rescheduling request on 6th April with note on the notice "Please reschedule my FP after june 29". I got a reply back from local INS that "Please resumit again in June". Now my attorney is suggesting that i should send request only after June29.
