Early and with out FP Notice in Atlanta GA

Hi guys,

I dont have FP Notice my spouse got Notice for nov .So we both went on 10/23 here in atlanta.just they cheked my spouse FP notice. i asked them dint get any Notice can I take FP!!? They took my EAD and give me the notice to take FP...so coool in atlnta....please guys go in the evening after 2pm....no one will be there....!

our son's FP notice arrived on 11/04/04 but mine and my wife never showed up as of 12/05/04, today.

which Atlanta GA office you went to? the one on Buford Hwy? we are planning to go 12/16/04 (date on our son's FP notice) together and ask for FP for me and my wife without notice.

any advice how do we talk to the officiers?

P.S.: any idea how long it will still take to get 485 approved after FP?

---Yes...the same one located on bufard hwy....

just show ur sons FP first and ask them we r same family not recieved FP's.....they will take u guys EADs and check the data and they will give u temp FP.

you beeter to go after 2pm on any day..if u go in the morning there will be big line....good luck...let me know how it go!!?

I guess that may work, considering the other fellow got an FP without a notice. Remember, though, that officers get in bad moods often. If they are not willing to go with it arguing will net you absolutely 100% nothing, so just take it and ask for help from them, no matter how angry you get with the situation :)

If this is your second FP supposedly the 485 should be approved soon after, but again, you just never know with immigration!

someone in the forum posted a joke that if you vent about FP in this forum you will get your FP notice the day after, it worked!!!!
i got my FP notice the day after!!! (my wife's is still not coming)

i checked with my lawyer, she said it's very very unlikely the mail of FP notice is lost so it seems that it could take long time (like one month or more ) for every family member to receive FP notice.

anyway, we are going on 12/16/04. Mine notice is set for 01/06/05, what the heck, i will go anyway on 12/16/04 and ask for FP for me and my wife.

this is our first FP. My lawyer said it will take 1- 5 months after FP to receive 485 approval, in average. i'm having my fingers crossed....
