Early 2nd fingerprinting option???

I got my 2nd finger printing notice today.
It's on Oct 28th. Does anybody try to go early for 2nd fingerprinting? Or anybody tried to prepone finger printing date and got it preponed?
I don't want to wait till 1 and 1/2 month for fingerprinting and then wait another 2 months for case result as I have already completed 22 months in 485.
Would appreciate thoughts on this situation.

I did my FP2 before the scheduled date in Philly. They did not ask any questions and everything went smoothly. But I did read on this forum that someone in CT was refused early FP2 and were asked to come on the scheduled date. Really depends where you are going.

There is nothing wrong in trying. You can always try for early date. I am from CT. DID early FP. It is all depends on person mood swings.
 
So do I need call them first to reschedule? or i will have go directly and try my luck.

You don't have to take any appointment. Go there and try. Best of luck. Most of the times they will not have any objections.
 
One more..

Congrats mdh for receiving 2nd FP notice...

Just walk in to the FP location. DO NOT say that you're doing early FP etc. - Just show the the notice. Only if they ask why you're coming early, give some good excuse (going on vacation etc).

Does anybody which day is less crowded at Newark NJ for fingerprinting?
 
In San jose, CA, I just went before my appointment date and got my 2nd FP done. Even my appointment was in Pittsburgh, PA and I got it done in San Jose, CA, No questions were asked.
 
I guess your case is just waiting for FP2.
Do it early..! Good LUck..
Just walkin around when there's not much of a crowd!
