Guys and Gals,

TSC seems to be approving EADs at record speed. We got our 4th EADs approved within a week. I haven't received the card yet, I bet they took away another 3 months like last time. Oh well, atleast they approved them quickly.

cheers,

saras

Saras:

i got 4th EAD approval in 10 days, and they took away 2 month.

till now to the total(4 EAD) they took away 7 month.

Nope - no time lost

I worried about the same - fast approval would mean lost time on previous EAD....but TSC seems to be smart...

I got new EAD with start date with was set to last date on my previous EAD + 1 day

TSC seems to have fixed the bug! My EAD renewal was like 2 months back!

I never lost a day even though i got my approvals fast. My 3rd EAD Got appoved in a month and they gave the start date from 9/4/2006 as my previous was expiring on 9/3/2006.

Not Surprised

TSC doesnt have much to do !
No 485 Approvals ...they are approving EADs atleast .

They ve got to justify the Pay check somewhere !

They are not approving our EADs yet. It has been 74 days...no news or what so ever. We are taking leave without pay from our companies...we are losing $1000/day, in addition we have to pay insurance, rent, expenses, etc....May God bless their life (USCIS families)! They seems playing around with us....
My I-485 has been pending for more than 26 months. My I-140 was approved in 20 months (EB1-OR). I have been in the US for 12 years......

Why don't you try to go for an appointment to your local USCIS office (get an appointment via InfoPass). If your I-485 is pending and I-765 has not been approved for 90 days, you are eligible for EAD issued right away at your local office.

Don't know yet ..

Did you loose any days?

swas,

I have not received the cards yet. I will let everyone know. I hope they are valid the day after the current ones expire. Last time I lost 3 months so I am not hopeful. Its bad enough that I am on my 4th EAD.

Its funny and sad. 3-4 years ago when I was new to this forum I came upon someone who was about to apply for their 3rd EADs, at that time I felt sorry for that person and thought to myself that this person must have been very unfortunate. Now I am applying for my 4th and all indications are that I will probably apply for a 5th ... how things have changed. It will be truly ironic if I end up breaking the record for EAD renewals .. :) :)

yes, we are going to do when It reaches 90 days. They knew (based on LUD change a week after the PF) that we were late renewing our EAD and gave the punishment on us. For comparison, the previous EAD approved in only ten days.

Per current rules, we are not going to get EAD right away in the local office. The local office will submit request to Service center to issue the EAD. I do not know how long it will take for service center to issue an EAD with current policies.

90 day rule ...

EB1OR_TX,

The only way around this is to apply atleast 90 (more like 100 days) prior to the current EAD expiring. These agencies are capable of anything. My 2nd AP was approved in 10 months and my 2nd EAD was transferred to the wrong local office. I have learnt to expect the worst and I always plan for it ...

O BTW, there is a LUD on 10/01/2006, in my 485 Case.

I just had an InfoPass appointment with a local office. Indeed, no EAD right away. Moreover, since I had an RFE they point blank refused to act till 90 days since my response have expired. And even then (as I was told) they would issue not a request for EAD itself, but just an inquiry. So, it looks like the InfoPASS is useless after all...

Hi Azazello ,

From my understanding , the local offices do not issue anymore any EAD's , so probably you'll have to wait for an answer from the Service Center !!!
Hopefully you'll get an answer(aproval) soon !!! Good luck !!!

Best of luck ,

Got the cards ..

Guys and Gals,

Just wanted to let you know that I received my EAD card in the mail last week and thankfully I did not lose any days this time. The card is valid from the day after the current one expires and is valid for a full year from that date. I guess it depends on the officer.

cheers,

saras
